Teachers and students at Finley High School were very sad to have to say farewell to Mrs Roslyn Braine last week.

Ros began working at Finley High as a school administration officer (SOA) in 2009 after being contacted by Gaye Maxwell, asking if she would be interested in working at the school.
Ros had previously been involved in real estate in the area.
In 2013 she took on the position of relieving school administration manager before becoming the permanent SAM in 2014.
During her time, Ros has been heavily involved in many areas including hospitality, library and general administration to name a few.
She has worked under four principals, including current principal Jeff Ward.
“Ros will be sadly missed as she has always been supportive through the good and the not so good times at Finley High,” Mr Ward said.
“I wish her and her husband Norm all the best for their future.”
A true testament of Ros’s contribution and years at Finley High School was evident when 50 staff and ex-staff members gathered at a farewell dinner recently.
Ros and Norm have family in the surrounding area and are looking forward to being able to spend quality time with their grandchildren.
They will be moving to Deniliquin in the near future, and are looking forward to becoming involved in community activities.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the group has had to cancel these events and is sorry for any inconvenience caused.
However, the gallery will be open on Easter Saturday morning, as usual.
Members would welcome any visitors who would like to view their work.
It is amazing the various types of artistic talent on display.
New members are most welcome and further information can be obtained by visiting the gallery.
