This year’s event will be full of new and improved things including a colour fun run and activities for all ages - all for a great cause.
Last year the Efforts 4 Esme crew held two races - one male and one female race for all ages.
This year, they have decided to split it into four races consisting of female adults (16 years and older), male adults, female children (under 16) and male children to give more people a chance to win.
Each adult race will still have a $500 cash prize, and the youngsters’ race winners will go home with a goodie bag full of amazing local prizes.
The committee is finalising the details to open entries soon, so make sure you stay tuned and save the date for this fundraiser.

This year’s World Day of Prayer will be held at St Peter’s Catholic Church in Charlotte St, Tocumwal at 10am on Friday, March 1.
All are welcome to attend.

Hearing Australia will be at the Tocumwal Library with their bus to offer free hearing screenings on Saturday, March 2.
They will be at the Tocumwal Library from 9am until 1pm, and later if there is demand. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend and have a free hearing check.

It is also World Hearing Day on Sunday, March 3 and Hearing Australia hopes to achieve high numbers to assist with further advice. The check only takes 15 minutes.

Tocumwal Football Netball Club had its first working bee of the season on Saturday, with their next one being held this Saturday to prepare its facilities for the 2024 season.
This weekend’s working bee will start at 8am and community and club members are encouraged to bring rakes, shovels, pressure washers, brooms, blowers and enthusiasm to get the club shining for the upcoming season.
