Ms Mussared, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, has been running the event for eight years, turning her experience into a way to give back and support others.
Last year’s event raised about $8000, something Ms Mussared said was lovely to see for this cause.
“It felt amazing to see that kind of support from the community,” she said.
This year’s morning tea will be held on May 2 at 11am at her home, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
“We’ll have sausage rolls, cakes and slices, which I make with my daughter,” she said.
“It’s very casual, people can sit around, relax, and come and go as they please.”
Donations can be made on the day, with no set amount expected.

“There’ll be tins around, and people can give what they like, there’s no obligation,” Ms Mussared said.
There will also be a table where Ms Mussared and her knitting group will be selling handmade blankets and beanies, with proceeds going towards the fundraiser.
She said community support was key to the event’s success each year.
“It really relies on people coming along and getting behind it,” she said.
Funds raised go towards cancer research, prevention and support services, helping those affected by the disease.
Ms Mussared encouraged locals to attend.
“It’s a great way to come together and support a really important cause,” she said.
