Echuca environmentalist Tyler Holland is giving people a chance to do just that, hosting a “guilt-free” community clean-up with his organisation, Tracks of Change.
“It’s not about blaming anyone, or expecting individuals to change everything,” Mr Holland said.
“It’s about recognising the small actions everyone can do and uplifting them instead of making them feel guilty for not ‘doing enough’.
“If people take stewardship over something, like an area they’ve cleaned up, they’re more likely to keep looking after it in the future.”
Mr Holland founded Tracks of Change last year to give people achievable next steps to help the environment.

“I called it Tracks of Change because animals leave tracks, people leave tracks — everyone leaves a track,” he said.
“The actions we take today shape the future we leave for tomorrow.
“Everyone has the power to make change, and I want to promote small, simple and accessible everyday activities which anyone can achieve.”
Tracks of Change’s Echuca Moama clean-up will take place at 31 Maiden St, Moama at 10am, Saturday, October 3.
