Festivities will begin with an Open Day at the Coleambally Town Hall from 10am to 2pm, where residents can meet current operators, explore rescue equipment, and learn more about the squad’s work.
A highlight of the day will be the official welcome of the squad’s new rescue truck into service, marking the next chapter in local emergency response capability.
The celebration will continue into the evening with a dinner at the Coleambally Club from 6pm, featuring a smorgasbord meal at $30 per head. Families are invited to attend.
The dinner will provide a chance to share stories, reflect on the squad’s history, and acknowledge the many people who have contributed to its success over the past 50 years.
RSVPs for the dinner can be made by contacting Clare on 0403 532 141 or Tom on 0487 650 808.
