Car fire investigation

The fire was extinguished within five minutes, but the car was completely destroyed.

Brigade Captain Ian Desailly said firefighters were unable to determine a clear cause for the fire, but that police would now be investigating.

It is the second car fire in the region in as many weeks.

Berrigan and Finley firefighters responded to a car fire on Mickels Rd, Finley on April 26.

There were suspicions the car may have been stolen and abandoned.
