The Stanhope Food and Wine Festival returns on Sunday, October 4, 2026, running from 11am to 4 pm along the main street of Stanhope, which will be closed to traffic for the street party.

Festival committee member Christine Dicketts said planning was well under way.
“We are looking forward to this year's Stanhope Food and Wine Festival; it is all planned,” she said.
“We have a few different musicians this year, just because we thought we should change it up a bit.
“This year we have The Wildlings and Tim Richards.”
Food vendors will offer gelato, doughnuts, Japanese, Indian and Korean cuisine, twisted potatoes, Australian barbecue, pizza and roast meats from the Stanhope Cafe.
“We also have produce including salami, olive oil, Timmering Food & Beverage Co, Graze Away from Kyabram with charcuterie boards, and a lot of wineries,” Ms Dicketts said.
Confirmed wineries include Ned Kelly and Callipari Wines, Strathbogie Estate, Wine by Sam and Echuca Distillery, with more still to be confirmed.
Children's activities will include face painting, horse and cart rides, a jumping castle, snow cones, colouring in and bubbles.

Ms Dicketts said the event attracted nearly 1000 people in 2025.
Entry is $5 per adult with entry for children free.
The event is glass-free, smoke-free and dogs are not permitted.
