Late of Regis Aged Care, Whitfield, Cairns.
Helen passed away peacefully, at the Cairns Hospital, following a short illness, on Wednesday 11th March 2026, aged 88 years. Most dearly loved and devoted wife of Tony (dec’d), loved step mother of Angela, loved step grandmother of Jessica & Andrew, much loved sister of Ann & Mary (both dec’d) and George, treasured aunt of William, Robert, Michael, Elizabeth, Felicity, Thomas, Jospeh, Stephen, Miriam &
Damien (dec’d).

All family, relatives and friends of HELEN SUNGAILA are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service, which will be held on WEDNESDAY MORNING 25th March 2026, commencing at 10.00am at St Monica’s Cathedral, 183 Abbott Street, Cairns City.

The service will conclude at St Monica’s Cathedral.
Helen will be privately cremated.
