Late of Cooktown, passed away suddenly on Wednesday 1st April 2026, aged 82 years.

Loved Husband of Carol (Dec'd). Partner of Audrey. Brother of Helen.
Much loved Father of Cherie & John "Chook".
Father in Law of Kim.
Grandfather of Jack & Annalise, Yasmin & Arlon, Lucas, Archer & Max.
Great Grandfather of Koah.

John will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Family and friends of John are respectfully invited to attend a tradional 'wharfie" leaving from Cooktown Hospital at 10:30 for his funeral service to be held graveside at Cooktown Cemetery, Charlotte Street Cooktown on Thursday 23rd April 2026,
commencing at 11:00am.
