Committee, members & players extend their condolonces to the family on the passing of Ray.
Ray was instrumental in transforming our club when he arrived in 1974. He was captain & coach when we were Premiers in 1975 and then Premiers & Champions in 1977.
Ray oversaw our promotion to Division One in 1978 followed by our club being one of the original clubs that formed the Geelong Football League in 1979. Ray won our Senior B&F in 1976, was a Life Member and served roles as President & Treasurer.
In 1977 Ray was named coach of our Best Team of the first 50 years and in 2015 was inducted into our Hall of Fame with Legend Status. Ray has left an everlasting legacy with our club, and a contribution that we will be forever grateful.
