MCRAE, Donna Lynn

Elder daughter of (Donald) Bruce and Bette (nee Hodges) McRae, and sister of Denise of California USA, all deceased.

Donna has been California’s gift to Australia since her arrival here in January 1972. Commencing with secondary teaching in Brisbane, she moved to a long career in the IT industry in Sydney, living in Cheltenham.

A very strong and humorous, kind and wise woman, deeply loving and deeply loved by so many. Her death after a long illness leaves a huge hole in the life of her partner, Gerri, and in that of her extended family, her many friends, and those to whom she was a benefactor.

Private cremation. A shared commemoration of her life will take place in Mansfield, Vic., at a later date.
