Our dear dad passed away aged 86 years

Dearly loved husband of Marie (deceased).

Dearly loved dad of Richard, William and Delia, and father-in-law to Ping.

Loving Granddad to Tayla and Damian, Eamon and Lucy, Aidan and Taylor, Billy, Alanah, Calvin, Jasmine, Alexis and Damon.

Loving Great-grandad to Tommy and Tallulah.

Dad, you fought so long and hard to stay with us, showing incredible strength, grit and determination until the very end. Your kindness, humour, and love will remain in our hearts forever.

I hope you are now back with mum - joking, laughing, and of course arguing over football and politics.

A true gentleman, a great bricklayer, a great thinker, a natural joker, and a champion at the 8-ball table.

Alzheimer’s may have taken away many things, but it could never take away the love you gave or the memories you created.

Thank you to all the staff at Anglicare for the care, kindness, and compassion you showed our dad.

We will be holding a wake in the coming weeks to celebrate Dad’s life. Family and friends who would like to attend are warmly invited to contact the family for the date, time, and location.
