Marlene was a gifted tennis player and competitive sportswoman who coached for over 60 years, inspiring countless young players and instilling in them a lifelong love of tennis. For 45 of those years, she was a committed and respected coach to many families within Melbourne’s Jewish Community, who knew her warmth, patience, and dedication first-hand.
Marlene's sense of humour and infectious love of all sports will be deeply missed by her family and by all who were fortunate enough to know her and be coached by her.
