FIRMAN, Brother William (Bill), FSC. Born Windsor, Melbourne Vic on 13 May 1943. Passed away after a short illness on 15 November 2025 at Launceston General Hospital, Launceston, Tasmania. Son of James and Mary (nee Uden) Firman (both deceased) Brother of Jack, Patricia and Ronald (both deceased) Brother William was a beloved and highly respected confrere of the De La Salle Brothers for 63 years. With great dedication, Brother William ministered in Lasallian schools and communities in Australia, New Zealand, and South Sudan. Brother William served as Brother Visitor (Provincial) from 1988 to 1992. He will be fondly remembered by many students and families whom he served faithfully. May he Rest in Peace. ‘And it is dying that we are born to eternal life.’
