AFLNT is saddened to acknowledge the passing of Edward “Ted” Egan, a true pioneer of Territory football. Ted was a founding member of Nightcliff Football Club. He also helped establish St Mary’s Football Club, serving as captain across multiple seasons which earnt him an Honorary and Financial Life Membership status. His contribution to football in the Northern Territory has left a lasting legacy. AFLNT extends sincere condolences to Ted’s family, friends, and all in the football community whose lives he touched.
