Noela Dawn Whalley-Boon
A tribute to the love of my life Noela Dawn Whalley-Boon who passed to eternal life on the 7th of March 2025
On the 16th of June 1956 she walked on board the “MV-Fairsea”to commence her journey of a lifetime around the world not knowing she would meet her life partner Jan Boon.
Sitting at a communal meal table she observed someone looking at her and he introduced himself. This introduction culminated into friendship for the duration to the UK. Upon arrival we promised to keep in touch-this we did. After a lengthy separation and meeting Jan’s family and upon returning to Australia and what was
initially a shipboard romance Dawn accepted a proposal of marriage. The date was the 29th of March 1958 which resulted in 3 children - 7 grandchildren - 1 great grandchild plus a 2nd one on the way.
The union after 67 years came to an end when she was called back to Nambour to join her Mum and Dad in eternal life. The Dux from Nambour High is so dreadfully missed by her husband Jan, Mark - Kym - Lisa-Anne and their families
