Aged 81 years
Passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, with Mum and me by his side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
In his final months in Kingscote, it was a true privilege to care for Dad with Mum, sharing time together that was quiet, unhurried, and deeply precious. He was a kind and generous man of many achievements, yet nothing in his life ever mattered more than his grandchildren, Ryan and Lucy.
They were his greatest joy, and their love filled his heart completely.
I will miss him every day of my life, but I am profoundly grateful for those final months, for the closeness we shared, for all that came before, and for the memories and unconditional love that will stay with me for as long as I live.
Beloved husband of Christine.

Treasured father-in-law to Kylie.
Adored grandfather of Ryan and Lucy.
Caring brother of Kathleen (dec’d) and Phillip.
