MALONEY, IRIS LAVINIA

Iris Maloney, (nee HEANG) 04/05/1930 – 10/01/25, our much loved Aunty,
passed away, at Ozcare, Villa Vincent, 10 January 2025 aged 94.
Born in Townsville she worked at Qld Rail.
A sense of ambition prompted her to move to Sydney, then Melbourne.
There she became head secretary of a large legal firm.
In later years, she was remembered by many as the smiling face behind the counter of the Ozone Café.
There, Iris helped her sister, Lilian Yuen, and brother in law, Herbie, during busy times.
Iris’s family acknowledge and thank the staff Ozcare, Villa Vincent for these last ten years of kindness and care.
