Barbara grew up on a farm near Hamley Bridge before attending Woodlands CEGS in Adelaide.

After receiving her Nursing Degree she travelled to Canada where she met
her husband Mike.

They lived in Vancouver for most of their lives before dividing their retirement time between a farm near Hamley Bridge and their home in Vancouver.

Barb and Mike were welcoming and generous friends and hosts to many over many years.
