Stableford was played and Steven Webster from Yarrawonga on 39 points took the A-grade trophy with Glen Hyde from Tocumwal on 37 points as runner-up.
Ed Brown from Tocumwal after countback on 37 points claimed B-grade, with Martin Piggin from Finley also with 37 points as runner-up.
Sean Rafferty from Yarrawonga, on 39 points took C-grade with Ted Oakley from Tocumwal on 36 points who was runner-up.
A-grade NTP went to Steven Webster (Yarrawonga), B-grade was claimed by Ashleigh Teagle (Cobram), C-grade went to Darren Wise (Tocumwal), and All Grades went to John Walker (Berrigan).
Ball competition winners were players who had 29 stableford points or better.
Finley
On Wednesday, the women played stroke and the winner was Kellie White 90/15/75. Ball comp: Beth White 76 and Janet Delmenico 77. Putting: Helen Wastle.
In the men’s stableford competition, the winner was Greg Delmenico with 32 points.
In the Thursday afternoon 9 hole competition, the winner was Colin McNamara with 18 points. Ball comp: Rob Singleton 15.
Saturday was stroke and the winner was Paul Pinnuck with 79/10/69. Ball comp: Mark Newton and Alan Hand 74, Rick Harris 75 c/b. The club welcomed visitors Darcey and Jason Kast and Ian Armer Snr.
Sunday was mixed 4BBB stableford, incorporating the final round of the Wilson Cup, played for by the Berrigan, Finley and Jerilderie Clubs. There was a field of 36 players, with some late withdrawals due to illness.
Winners were Gai Singleton and Colin McNamara, 46 points, r/u Heather and Matt Daniel 41. Ball comp: Judy and Joe Karakai 40, Kellie White and Grant Shaw 39, Sandy Moar and Chris Kelly and Beth White and Tony Smith 38 points on c/b. NTP: Sandy Moar, John Simpson and Doug Smith.
The final results after the three rounds were: Jerilderie 331, Berrigan 361 and Finley retaining the trophy with 366.
Jerilderie
A small but intrepid band of golfers took to the course on Wednesday and battled conditions including fog and wet feet.
Winner of the June Monthly Medal was Julie Sleigh with nett 105, r/u Heather Cameron on 114. Putting: Julie Sleigh, 33.
A band of golfers headed to Finley for the final round of the Wilson Cup on Sunday, which was taken out by the Finley team.
Again, a reminder for the MND Golf and Bowls Day to be held on Sunday, June 22.
Tocumwal
Ladies played the qualifying round of the Seiters Shield on Tuesday of last week. Winners were Bobette Wilkinson and Maxine Sadler 43, r/u Kerry Guille and Patsy Baker 41.
On Wednesday, the men played two ball stableford aggregate on the President’s Course. Winners were Joe Sacco and Terry Stokes 70, r/u Tank Dunn and Kevin Dunn 68, 3rd John Wilson and Lawrence Deering 67 c/b.
Saturday was stableford on the President’s Course. Men – A-grade Jordan Hick 39. Berrigan
Friday's winner was Brendan Haintz (45-11-34), r/u Joe Nicholls (43-9-34), putting Dave Midson 13, and ball comp Donald Shaw (34.5), Doug Cameron (37.5) and Beau Wallis (38).
Saturday's winner was Kath Harris (60-24.5-35.5), r/u Spike Salter (56-18.5-37.5), 3rd Steve Senini (47-9-38).
Sunday's winner was Simon Packer on 32 points, r/u Chris Cameron and ball winner Doug Cameron.
Last Friday was the Golf AGM and congratulations to the new incoming executive committee: President Doug Cameron, vice-president Simon Packer, captain Matt Whelan, handicapper Chris Kelly. Thanks to everyone who attended; it was great to see so many golfers there.
