Dan Eldridge and Nathan Brown were selected in the MVCA’s under-16 Team of the Year.
The Finley Cricket Club recently held its 2022/2023 junior presentation awards, and also celebrated two Finley lads being named in the Murray Valley Cricket Association’s under-16s Team of the Year.

Nathan Brown and Dan Eldridge were named as part of the side at the MVCA junior presentation night.
At the club awards, players and their families enjoyed a barbecue dinner to mark the season’s end.
Award winners by grade are as follows:
Under-12s:
Finley Blue: Batting - Noah Brindley; Bowling - Archie Brindley; Most Improved - Madelynn Price; Best Team Player - Jackson Pyle.
Finley White: Batting and Bowling - Angus Urquhart; Most Improved - Eliza Culton; Best Team Player - Judd Clarke.
Under-14s:
Cricketer of the Year, Batting - Logan Eldridge for getting 5/9 off 6 versus Nathalia; Batting - Jackson Tooke; Bowling and Most Improved - Pat Billings; Coach’s Awards - Ryan Bauer and Cooper Gurciullo.
Under-16s:
Cricketer of the Year, Batting - Nathan Brown; Cricketer of the Year, Bowling - Dan Eldridge for getting 6/4 off 8 versus Tocumwal; Most Improved - Tyler Hall; Coach’s Award - Jacob Armer.
