With the inclusion of Ruby Russell and Jordan Gray, the Saints were all pumped for a good game after a great warm up, the girls started strong and with a great passion to play good netball.
The girls put everything into the game and had confidence all over the court.
The Saints didn’t get the result they wanted, but the girls played brilliant netball, fought hard to the end and with improvement every week a win isn’t far away.
For Tocumwal it was a great win for Abby Wilson’s 150th A-grade game for the Bloods.
Tocumwal tried new combinations and the team never skipped a beat.

Berrigan had some last minute exits and made some quick changes to the starting side during their warm up.
It was a tough day at the office where everyone was doing the most, some forced and unforced errors proved costly on the scoreboard and the team will continue to work in that.
Nevertheless, everyone gave their all.
The Tocumwal team showed strong play and relentless defence, breaking through with smart movements.
The teamwork turned individual efforts into a dominant performance.

Another slow start allowed Tocumwal to get a jump on the Saints.
A couple of changes in attack took the pressure off the defence and allowed for the ball to flow through the mid-court.
The third quarter was the best with our training paying off with the girls getting on top of the strong Tocumwal team.
The last quarter saw Berrigan continue the form we built in the last quarter, with the score not reflecting how good of a game it was for the players.
Amelia Packer shot well to finish with 17 goals to take the Marshall Ag $50 award, and giving us plenty of options in attack.
Annabelle Middleton had a great day in defence to claim the Federal Hotel Award, and Marley Galea gave plenty of drive through the centre, working back into defence to help the defenders.

C-Reserve: Berrigan 24 def by Tocumwal 42.
Tocumwal displayed nice and tight defence and strong leads in attack end with accurate shooting from their shooters. Overall wonderful team work.

Under-17s: Berrigan 40 def Tocumwal 35.
Another win for Berrigan’s under-17s against close rival Tocumwal. It was a highly contested game.
The polished Saints had some lovely passages of play, and the release of the ball into the attacking end was top tier .
It made for some smooth transition from the defensive end, where the defenders cut the ball off from reaching the circle edge.
A great result for the young Saints, who have now moved into third position on the ladder.
Tocumwal fought hard until the end. They learned a few things to take away if they come up against Berrigan in the finals.

On Saturday, Berrigan took on one of the top sides in what proved to be another great team effort.
While the result didn't go their way, they kept Toc within arm’s distance all game and didn’t drop their heads until the last siren.
Bella Ward was back to her brilliant best in defence, well supported by Taylah Dixon.
Maria Somera is proving to be a very handy inclusion, showing her versatility in playing attack and defence.
Well done once again, Sophia-Ruby Morgan for her accurate goal shooting and exceptional movement in and around the ring.
It was a slow start again for the Tocumwal girls, but they were able to lift their intensity and come away with the win.

Despite the scoreboard not going our way this week, Berrigan showed so much heart and determination from the first whistle to the last.
The girls kept their heads up, kept encouraging each other, and never stopped trying — even against a very strong side.
There were great passages of play, strong defensive efforts, and moments where everything clicked.
The Tocumwal team members played their roles perfectly.

Berrigan had a solid game against a seasoned Tocumwal team.
The little Saints never gave up and displayed some fantastic passages of play.
The Tocumwal girls also continue to improve every week.
It’s lovely to see what they are practising at training being put into action on the court come game day.
