The Steamers, made up of Cassandra Millerick, Aron Sherriff and Ryan Bester, are currently defending their BPL17 crown out at Club Pine Rivers in Brisbane, going four from four to kickstart their campaign.
Moama opened its account on Monday with a strong opening win against the Adelaide Pioneers 11 shots to 3, before shaking off Tweed Heads after a 4-4 first-set draw to win 18-12.
The Steamers emulated that win with a third triumph of the day, this time against Tasmania Tridents to round out the first day of competition with a win.
Moama’s first tiebreak encounter came against the Gold Coast Hawks on Tuesday morning, trading sets before heading to the final stanza which the Steamers won by a single shot.
That win made Moama the last remaining undefeated team in the competition, with clashes against Perth, Melbourne and Moreton Bay to complete day two.
The 10 teams will play each other twice before finals on Friday, November 17, with the top five after the regular rounds competing in finals.
