Saturday was Mixed 4BBB in conjunction with the Wilson Cup.
Winners were Neil Graham and Marianne Whelan, Berrigan, 45, to runners-up Norm Pyle and Sharon Pyle, Finley, 42.

The final round will be played at Finley on Saturday, June 3.
Sunday was the Men’s Tournament held under very cold and windy conditions.

Congratulations to Tim Walker for winning the Victorian/Tasmanian Trainee Championship by seven shots this week with a great score of 14 under par.
On Tuesday, May 2, the ladies played stableford on the president’s course with Libby Quick having a fantastic score of 43 points.

On Wednesday, May 3, the men played a four person ambrose with each player to use at least three drives.
They played on the president’s course in very cold and windy conditions.
The winning team was Ricky Bourke, Bennie Benbow, Shane Halloran and Phillip Cheesewright with 59.25.
Runners-up were Paul Jones, Kyle Jackson, Stuart Campbell and Jack Hadluck on 59.62 and third was Michael Cooper, Scott Eddy, Michael Taylor and Bryan McKenna with 59.87.

Saturday, May 6 was the president’s team vs the captain’s team with a 9am shotgun start on the president’s course.
The captain’s team won in a stableford format.

Division 2: Glenys Ladner 36 points, R/U Sue O’Conner 36 points.
Men:

Sunday, May 7, saw the final of the Tony Baldwin Memorial 4BBB with Grant Stewart and Scott Eddy defeating John and Harry Thompson 6/5.
The rest of the field played stableford on the captain’s course.

Friday's golf winner was Wayne Crew, and runner-up was Steve Senini.
Putting was won by Spike Salter and ball winner was Tom Wallis.
Five teams travelled to Jerilderie on Saturday for the second round of Wilson's Cup.
The afternoon turned out to be perfect golf conditions.
Marianne Whelan and Neil Graham won the day with 45 points, and Finley's Norm and Sharon Pyle were runners-up.
Berrigan is leading by the narrowest of margins.
The third round will be held at Finley on Saturday, June 3, it would be great to have as many teams as possible play the final round.
Finley
With inclement weather forecast, only a small number of golfers took part in the Ashley Haynes Butchery Stroke Day which included the May Monthly Medal Event.
The day’s competition winner was Beth White who had 72 net after countback.
Mary Polkinghorne, who finished with 89 gross, received the scratch medal and Beth White was the net medal winner.
Ball competition winners were Maree Doyle 74, and Jenni Corcoran who had 75 net.
Beth White, with 29 putts after countback, also added the putting competition to her collection on the day.
With 35 points, Bill O’Connell came in as the winner of the Finley Hardware Stableford Event last Wednesday
NTP on the 18th was Kevin McCumstie.
Ball competition winners were Chick Braybon and Rob Klemke, both on 30 stableford points.
Stableford was played on the back nine in the Nine Hole Competition on Thursday.
Doug Smith was the winner with 19, and Rand Wilson’s 18 made him winner in the ball comp.
A small field played stroke medley for the Flippa’s Auto Electrics on Saturday.
Sue Simpson, with 71 net, came home as the winner with Maree Doyle who had 74 net a winner in the ball competition.
Stableford was played at the Sutto’s Bobcat Hire day on Sunday.
The men’s winner was Rob Daniel, ahead of Grant Wilson with 36 points after countback.
Julie Gregory, again after countback, was the Ladies Division winner with 32.
NTP on the 13th was Janet Delmenico and on the 18th was Alan Hand.
Ball competition winners were Brett Murphy 36, Rodger Sutton 35, Jason Pyle 34, Rick Harris 33 and Janet Delmenico with 32 Points.
On Sunday, April 30, the first of a series of Open Tournaments for junior golfers across the Golf NSW Murray Region commenced.
The Western Riverina District Golf Association conducted the 2023 Finley Junior Tournament at Finley.
Junior golfers from Howlong, Deniliquin, Cobram, Oaklands and Narrandera joined Finley juniors on the Finley course for the tournament, and a short course version for a Jack Newton Golf Juniors on the Move for the younger golfers.
At end of the day, it was Kohen Haddrell from Cobram with a scratch score of 89 who came out as the Open Champion.
Braxton Ivanoff from Narrendera was one shot back on 90 gross.
In the net division, it was Harry Daniel, after countback, who was the winner with 73 net with Chase Doyle from Oaklands, also with 73 net as runner-up.
In the Jack Newton Juniors on the Move, Zander Chapman from Howlong was the winner with Rivah Taylor from Deniliquin and Jackson Pyle from Finley as runners-up.
The next round of the series is at Deniliquin on Sunday, May 21.
