The Junior Vote Count on September 15 was a huge success, with more than 200 people packing into the clubrooms.
It was a chance to celebrate the season, and the under-14s’ thrilling grand final victory - a win that will be remembered fondly by players, coaches and supporters for years to come.
The celebrations continued with the Senior Vote Count on September 19.
The vote counts were also a time to celebrate the people who make the Saints more than just a club.
Sharon Cameron was warmly thanked for her many years of service as trainer, as she announced her retirement.
And in one of the most heartfelt moments of the season, Linda Cameron and Kurt Bauer were inducted as life members.
Linda has devoted more than 30 years to the Saints, volunteering in so many different ways.
When something needs doing at Berrigan, Linda is usually there with her hand up.
Kurt, meanwhile, has carved out his own legendary role as the club’s much-loved master of the barbecue.
Rain, hail or shine, you will find him behind the grill, turning burgers with precision, serving egg and bacon rolls with a smile, and keeping the hungry Saints faithful well-fed.
Without him, a Saturday at the footy just would not taste the same.
