What a game. The team would like to thank Isabella Kelly who played her best game for us yet on Saturday. She did phenomenal work in our defence end alongside Savannah Wilson, who was another stand-out.
These girls performed exceptionally well, getting multiple intercepts.
Overall, every player who stepped on the court gave it their all, put up a fight and didn’t make it easy for Rennie to come away with the win.

While we didn’t take the four points this time, our players put in their best efforts.
Following some adjustments in player positions within the club, we anticipate a brief period of change as we integrate new members into our team.
Over the next few weeks, our focus will be on gelling and refining our skills to ensure a stronger performance in future games.
Jodi Hawes had some unreal defensive pressure. Charlie Magill is taking on not one but two opponents like a boss. Rach Arnold returned from injury straight into B-grade at half-time and killed it.

After a few team adjustments, the girls had to work on some new combinations.
It was truly a defensive game, with Gen Taylor and Kallee Chesshire working hard for some great turnovers and big defensive pressure.
Mia Coldwell played a blinder of a game, fighting for each ball through the midcourt and shining in centre.
Gracie Lagudi again showed her versatility and maintained a positive attitude that kept everyone smiling.

Leteisha Hague and Nell Rennick once again proved a strong defensive combination, kept Rennie fighting for each goal and winning some amazing intercepts.
After stepping up into centre last week, Fiona James started there and kept that speed and precision down the court with some excellent backing of play.
We tried a few new combinations, welcomed Erica Hammond back into goals and had a good outing.

Despite the wet conditions, the girls played a great game.
The low score really emphasised the fight through the midcourt and defensive pressure at both ends.
Rosie Phillips showed off her reach with immense defensive pressure, and Maria Somera showed off her versatility by jumping down into goals.
Lucy Pyle moved out of goals to keep that positive talk up we love to see each week.

After a quick adjustment in the ring, Evie Cameron and Sophia-Ruby Morgan worked flawlessly to put up some impressive goals.
Sophie Baxter kept that flow going through the midcourt, helping create space and encouraging the team with her infectious smile.
Our girls worked hard in defence, but rebounds were scarce.

It was great to watch our girls play well as a team and become more focused each week.
Jessie Rice did a fantastic job directing the play, and Lizzie Gorman’s magnificent super jump spurred the girls to increase their intercepts.

Our under-8s had a fantastic run in an even match with many smiles. It was great to watch our littlest Saints grow in confidence.
