On Saturday we took the court with a few injuries and a handful of last-minute fill-ins, but you wouldn’t have known it by the way we played.
Despite all the ins and outs, every player stepped up, dug deep, and gave it their all.
The scoreboard might not have gone our way, but our fight, determination, and never-give-up attitude were something to be proud of.
We held our own from the first whistle to the final horn and that’s a win in itself.

B-grade: Berrigan 45 drew Tungamah 45.
Another high-intensity battle from our B-grade ladies this week, continuing to prove just how much grit and heart this team brings to the court.
Week after week, they’re showing their mettle - coming together, digging deep, and working hard as a united front.
Nail-biting finishes are quickly becoming their trademark this season!
With ladder-leaders Tungamah expecting a comfortable match against 9th-placed Berrigan, they were met instead with unwavering resistance and fierce determination.
The fight shown by our girls was nothing short of inspiring.
It’s that relentless effort, sharp focus, and unwavering commitment that makes B-grade a team you never want to miss.

Another tough game for our girls, but a well-fought effort across the board.
The team really stepped up in the second quarter, applying pressure and restricting Tungamah’s drive into attack—showing just how competitive we can be.
Annabelle was awarded the Marshall Ag $50 award for her hard work and determination, while Mia earned the Federal Award for a standout performance in defence, holding her own against some very experienced goalers.
Tash at WA (Yeti $10) provided plenty of drive and options in attack, keeping us in the contest. Overall, it was a strong team effort against a quality side.
The scoreboard didn’t quite reflect the intensity and quality of the game, but the growth and spirit of the team continue to shine.
C-Reserve: Berrigan 16 def by Tungamah 41.
C-reserve had a big challenge with a second placed Tungamah on Saturday.
The girls came out firing on all cylinders from the first whistle.
Lots of cheering and support from the bench was really important to the girls on court.
We had caught Tungamah off guard and they came out stronger and faster after half time and were able to get back out in front in the third quarter.
Unfortunately for the Saints we were unable to catch back up and Tungamah took out the win.
Huge win for us as a team though, showing that the fire from the start of the season is still there, very proud of everyone’s efforts today.

Under-17s: Berrigan 54 def Tungamah 25.
A fantastic win for our under-17s this week, showcasing teamwork, determination, and some truly impressive individual performances.
An all-round team effort and a well-deserved win.

Under-15s: Berrigan 21 def by Tungamah 57.
On Saturday our under-15s faced up to third placed Tungamah in what turned out to be a cracking day for netball.
Our girls went goal-for-goal with the opposition for most of the first quarter, however couldn’t keep up the intensity and Tungamah got on top of us and didn’t look back.
Well done to Sophia-Ruby Morgan for shooting all but one of our goals. Definitely a player to watch out for in the future.
Maria Somera got some handy taps in defence which resulted in some turnovers.
Larni Gorman gave 100 per cent all day, as she so often does.

Our under-13s Saints took on one of the top sides this week in the Bears, and they rose to the challenge with passion and determination.
From the first whistle, the girls showed fantastic energy and positive attitudes, never backing down and continuing to give it their all.
The mid-court was a real highlight, with great ball movement, smart passing, and relentless effort that helped drive the game forward.
Despite the strength of the opposition, the Saints held their heads high and demonstrated how much they’re growing as a team each week.

The under-11s had a great hit out against an in form Tungamah team.
It was a great opportunity to perfect our defensive game against a tall opposition.
