The team went into the game with a positive attitude and plenty of fight.
The girls gave everything they had and in warm conditions again it was very even every quarter.
With a few turnovers, the game went Waaia’s way.

B-grade came out flying with an excellent 15 goal to nine first term.
The goalies didn’t miss and the play from mid-court and defensive end was top tier.
This momentum was carried through the entire match, with the Saints holding a convincing lead at each break.
Second and third efforts from everyone meant the Saints could capitalise when it counted.

Great persistence on the court from the Saints, who knew it would be a tough game but everyone was ready to step up for a challenge.
The girls kept fighting despite strong defensive pressure.

Another great win with a good display of netball throughout each quarter, being cautious with their passage and delivery of the ball.
Maddie Rice shifted into the middle for the last two quarters and played her best game earning her the top award.

Under-15s: Berrigan 27 def by Waaia 32.
The girls played their best game of the season, but unfortunately couldn’t come away with the win despite finally playing together as a team.
It was a happy birthday for Evie Cameron who played her best game, well supported by Sophia-Ruby Morgan in the goal ring.
Sophie Baxter and Bella Ward provided some great intercepts in the mid-court and strong chasing of the ball.
The girls should not be discouraged by the score as they showed a heap of improvement and better things are coming.

The girls played another great game and only went down by 12 goals.
The defensive end was held tight for the whole game, and it was so great to watch so many positives.

Under 11s: Not scored.
The little Saints moved well, making space and shooting goals.
The defence was tight, and the girls worked together to stop lots of Waaia goals. A great team effort.
