Moore and Bennett claim MVP awards

Although Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club did not bring home a pennant flag, it still has plenty to cheer about.

Two of the club’s top players — Regan Moore and Lauren Bennett — have won Purdey’s Jewellers’ Most Valuable Player awards for the 2023-24 Goulburn Murray Lawn Tennis Association season.

Moore was successful in winning the MVP for Section 2.

More, from the opening round, produced a top-level brand of power tennis with an enviable record of not losing singles during a long season.

In Section 3, Bennett took out the MVP award ahead of a list of fairly impressive quality players.

Her clever on-court ‘’smarts’’, along with a high level of consistency throughout the season, make her a very worthy winner of this award.

The Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club congratulates both players on their outstanding season.
