Once again it was a change in weather conditions to play against Deni, as last time the teams met it was a struggle with heat.
Even though the Cats lost, the girls again never gave up and are proving they can match it with the best teams.

The girls stay composed and played a great patient game of netball.
The defence stepped up and played a strong game combining well to create many turnovers.
Overall it was a great team effort.

C-grade: Finley 39 def by Deni 53.
The players knew it would be a tough game against a well drilled team.
A tight first half saw the Cats take a slim four goal lead into the break but they couldn’t capitalise and let the match slip away.
BOC went to Sasha Wood, who not only troubled her opponent in GK but showed her flexibility with strong drive and pressure in WD.
The other award went to Elyse Price who played multiple positions and showed great feeding into the ring.
C-reserve: Finley 28 def by Deni 39.
The Cats went goal-for-goal for a while but Deni were able to edge in front a little more each quarter.
The defensive pressure remained strong with intercepts and rebounds.

Under-17s: Deniliquin 52 def Finley 31.
It was a tough hit-out against a strong Deniliquin side.
Missing two key players from each end of the court, the team faced a big challenge but stepped up with grit and determination.
Thanks to the under-15s girls who filled in and brought great energy to the court.

Under-15s: Finley 33 def Deni 22.
Although the girls came away with the win, it wasn’t without its challenges.
Early in the game, they struggled to find their rhythm.
Passes were rushed and communication was lacking, making the first half a tough battle.
However, a few crucial swaps in both the defensive and attacking ends during the second half marked a turning point.
BOC was Bella Rourke, whose positive attitude and impeccable timing saw her constantly in the right place when it mattered most.
The second award went to Lucy Mueller, who had a standout performance in WD and stepped up brilliantly in GK, earning some incredible intercepts.
The third award went to Emilee Sneddon, who showed great growth in her mindset throughout the game, staying composed under pressure and responding to challenges with maturity.
Under-13s: Finley 7 def by Deni 14.
Everyone worked together, with some playing in new positions. They implemented what they had been working on at training.
Under-11s: Not scored.
The team displayed great teamwork, starting strong and gathering a record breaking eight super goals before the second half.
Good netball was showcased throughout the whole game.
