Congratulations are in order for Tracey Miles and Nan Smith, winning the ladies’ pairs championship at Finley Bowling Club.
The duo defeated Karen Peacock and Kerry Turner in the final.
Pennant bowls is back this week with midweek bowlers playing at home, against Numurkah.
On Saturday, Division 1 will play Cobram at home.
Division 2 will travel to Picola, while Division 4 will battle Numurkah at Numurkah.
Nan and Brian Anderson won the Sunday morning bowls, which was well attended by 18 keen players.
The lucky draws were won by Steve Malone and Cheryl Barnes.
The other winners were the veteran team comprising Ray Wood, Geoff Trevorrow, and Bob ‘Poor Bob’ Poore.
Pennant teams will be displayed at the club later this week.
The Finley Bowls club wishes good luck to all competitors.
Social bowls will not take place this Sunday, as the club is playing host to the state triples on ‘‘our wonderful greens’’.
‘‘They are a credit to president Warren and his gang of hard-working helpers,’’ the club said.
