Locals well represented in squads

The Picola District Football Netball League has announced the 2026 under-13, under-15 and under-17 Representative Netball Squads.

A spread of players have filled the junior squads with Tocumwal, Jerilderie and Blighty junior netballers all featuring.

Maya Daggett, Lily Baldwin and Lily Grieves from Tocumwal Football Netball Club and Milla Rorato from Jerilderie Football and Netball Club have been chosen to represent the under-13s.

Other squad members are as follows:

Ella Mionnet (Waaia), Evie McNamaга (Dookie United), Isabelle Hourigan (Barooga), Lilly McLarty (Katandra), Peggy O’Donnell (Deniliquin Rovers), Sophia McPherson (Picola United) and Zarii Giles (Katandra).

Ella Charlton and Lily Petersen from Blighty and Indianna Borg from Tocumwal Football Netball Clubs have been chosen for under-15s representative netball squad.

Other squad members are:

Alice Hickey (Barooga), Alivia Noonan (Barooga), Ava Mathers (Barooga), Ella McLarty (Katandra), Ivy Stevens (Dookie United), Kayli Henderson (Katandra), Lexie Bruce (Barooga), Pippa O’Brien (Waaia) and Ruby Fredrickson (Katunga).

Ruby Neessen from Jerilderie Football and Netball Club and Adrienne Jones, Ava East and Shayla Hicks from Tocumwal Football Netball Club have been selected for the under-17s.

Other squad members include:

Connie Harris (Katandra), Gemma Rogers (Waaia), Jamieson Shelton (Waaia), Kirra Elliott (Picola United), Lara O’Callaghan (Mathoura) and Matilda Medland (Mathoura).
