The goal kicking improved slightly in the second quarter and Mulwala continued to control the game but were unable to put scores on the board.

A tough day at Deniliquin. Coach Dusty asked for a more defensive effort, but yet again the fourths let a lot of easy goals through their structure.
Brody Guthrie was the pick of the defenders playing tight all day.
With a fight back on the cards for the second half, Jake Dalen was showing the way, playing his best game for the club yet.

A tough game but the Lions come away with plenty of upside and plenty to work on.
