'Lefties’ descend on Tocumwal for national championships

Tocumwal Golf & Bowls Club has been selected as the venue for the 55th National Left Handed Golf Championships.

The championships will run from this Sunday to Friday, November 18.

The Riverina Division of National Association of Left Handed Golfers Australia (NALGA) will host this great week of golf at the magnificent 36 hole golfing complex.

Players will compete for numerous categories of championship trophies over four rounds of stroke play.

A special highlight of the tournament will be the prize of a Volkswagon T-Cross SUV for a hole-in-one on the last day of the tournament, sponsored by Shepparton VW.

NALGA comprises of eight divisions across Australia and promotes and conducts golf events for left handed golfers, as well as their right handed golfing friends.

Yes, that’s right, right handed players can also play in their events, in the special right handers category of competitions.
