Tocumwal’s Logan White and Jerilderie’s Ruby Neessen have taken out the top awards for their competitions in the Picola District Football and Netball League.

At the junior presentation evening in Moama on Monday night, the Tocumwal thirds footballer and Jerilderie under-15s netballer both won league Best and Fairests.
White narrowly finished first in the thirds vote count with 25 votes, one vote ahead of the runner-up Jeremy Packer from Berrigan.
In third place was Tocumwal’s Liam Sutton on 21 votes, who also took home league leading goal kicker award in the thirds with 56 goals so far this season.
In the under-15s netball, Neessen was the runaway winner with 36 votes and a buffer of seven votes.
His quality consistency was highlighted, polling in 14 matches throughout the season.
Berrigan’s Jordan Swann also polled highly in the fourths football finishing equal runner-up on 37 votes.
Others finishing in the top three from the region’s clubs included Blighty’s Kaydnce Sibraa in the under-13s netball with 28 votes, Tocumwal’s Archer Chellew equal third in the fourths football with 31 votes and Jerilderie’s Miley Conn equal third in the under-17s netball with 23 votes.
All Southern Riverina based Picola clubs had players invited to the awards night, with a number of others placing in the top 10 in the league.
