The Jerilderie reserves were defeated quite convincingly by Yarroweyah at the weekend, with the game running away from the Dees in the third quarter.

Despite the Demons having all the ball in the first quarter, they just couldn’t find the correct path to goal.

It was a close game up until half time.

The third quarter saw Yarroweyah kick away, with all the momentum firmly with them.

The Jerilderie midfield battled away all day, with Ferg O’Sullivan giving his all in the ruck and Cam Arnold right by his side to clean up and give Jerilderie first use.

Ollie Knight continued, in a what is a break out year, playing a great game all over the ground. Rory Knight presented all day up forward, kicking the sides sole goal and making great contests for his smaller forwards.

Best players: Cam Arnold, Ollie Knight and Corey Curtis.

Final Score: Jerilderie 1.8 (14) def by Yarroweyah 12.7 (79).

There was no seniors game this week, as Yarroweyah could not field a side this season.

The under-17s boys had a great day bringing home their second win of the season.

It was a back and fourth contest which saw Yarroweyah providing plenty of resistance.

The young Jerilderie side struggled in the first half to convert and hit the score board.

However, this changed in the second half and they were able to get a few goals on the board to pull away from Yarroweyah.

It was a great team effort all day, with everyone contributing to the win.

Trav Lawton and Dan Eldridge continued with their consistent form, both having a great day in the middle.

Tex Flack also played a good game in the backline while Lachie Vearing assisting Jackson Pitt channel his inner Daicos to finished with two majors.

Best players: Dan Eldridge, Trav Lawton and Lachie Vearing.

Final Score: Jerilderie 6.14 (50) def Yarroweyah 3.6 (24).

The youngest of the Demons’ sides notched a win in a hard fought contest over Yarroweyah.

At half time it could have gone either way, but the young Demons dug deep to defend their backline and kick a few timely goals.

It was great to see everyone having a go and enjoying a great win.

The team song was sung with great enthusiasm for the fifth time this season.

Best players: Zavier Rorato, Matt Dilullo, Charlie Rorato and Evan Lawton.

Final Score: Jerilderie 5.5 (35) def Yarroweyah 2.4 (16).
