It was a tough day, but the girls fought hard on the defensive end with Bec Johnson earning herself best on court.
Other awards went to star defender Zara Williams and Tanya Lovehill for her shooting accuracy and moving in the ring.
C-grade were missing five players from their regular team and players from other grades rallied to help out, which was appreciated.
C-Reserve: Jerilderie 19 def by Waaia 52.
A hard fought match which unfortunately resulted in another loss.
Although going down, C-reserve posted their second highest score of the season, so that’s a great positive to take out of the game.
Ella Breen (BOC) got her opportunity in the goal ring and sunk some great shots whilst her movement and decision making enabled her to work seamlessly with Laura Ham.
Once again, the speedy mid-court never gave up, and it was pleasing that the number of ‘footwork’ calls was well down on previous matches.
Other awards went to Evie Trethowan and Brooke Pitt, both showing real resilience and positive attitude.

They came out firing, holding Waaia to just one goal in the first quarter.

It was their third win in a row playing a great game, showing strong teamwork, determination and lots of passion.
