Kate Sleigh played 9 holes with 17 pts. Anyone wanting to play just 9 holes are welcome to play on Thursday, you will start your round with regular golfers and then able to play just 9, hit off 8 for 8.30am.
Sunday was Medley Stableford with the winner being Di Mitchell 33 pts, runner-up Gina Simpson, on new handicap, 30 pts. NTP: 7th Laurie Blackmore, 16th Laurie Blackmore.
Tocumwal
We had a smashing week of Spring Golf, with the weather finally warming up and being perfect for the whole week. Tuesday, October 31, the women of Club Tocumwal stepped out for a smashing day of Golf on the Presidents Course. Our A-Grade winners were Shellei Clark with a score of 38 and Anne Beveridge with only one point less with a score of 37 C/B. Our B-Grade winners were Marie McLennan with a score of 42, and runner-up was Molly Answerth with a score of 40.
The first day of the month, Wednesday, November 1 was another great day of Golf for our Men’s Stableford Comp.
A-Grade: Neil Jackson on a score of 37. David Wilson 35 C/B. Peter Bolt 35.
B-Grade: Bruce McCallum 43. Brett Shaw 38. Terry Stokes 36 C/B.
C-Grade: Vern Christensen 40. Lou Richard 38 C/B. Ricky Bourke 38.
D-Grade: John Gradie 39. Billy Greig 35. Spencer Rutherford 34 C/B.
Our November ProV1 Comp was held last Thursday and Friday with Paul Jones taking home the win on Friday with an awesome score of 41 Stableford Points in a field of thirty players. What a super effort. Congratulations Paul.
Over the weekend, the weather was phenomenal for an amazing weekend of golf. Starting the weekend off right on Saturday, November 4 with the Men’s Stableford Comp.
A-Grade: Scott Eddy took it home with an amazing score of 43. David Wilson with an incredible 42. Glenn Murphy on 39.
B-Grade: Wayne Youlten on 36. Denis Graner with 35. Doug Perrett on 34 C/B.
C-Grade: Douglas Carney with a great score of 40. Shaun Fagan from Bacchus Marsh Golf Club with a score of 39. Hans Bianchi with a score of 35.
The Women’s Stableford Comp on Saturday also had some incredible scores. Our A-Grade winner was Roslyn Seymour with a smashing score of 39. Susan Firth of Royal Hobart Golf Club took home the A-Grade runner-up with a score of 38 C/B. Our B-Grade comp had an incredibly close score with the winner Barbara Clarke on a score of 36 C/B and runner-up Linda Forsyth with score of 36.
Sunday, November 5, the Women’s Stableford Comp had a great win from Kirsten Crick with a score of 41, and runner-up Tracey Shalders with a score of 37.
To finish up an impressive week of golf on the Club Tocumwal course the Men’s Medal was also on Sunday.

B-Grade: Bennie Benbow 73 C/B. Albert Adams 73. Phillip Lovelace 74.

Berrigan
Friday’s winner was Chris Kelly (41-8-33), John Walker was runner-up (50-13-37) and ball winner was Wayne Crew (55-18-37). Jeff Stein won the putting with 15 putts.
Sunday’s winner was Neil Graham on a countback with 39 points, runner-up was Ian Swain on 39 points, ball winners were Alan Arnold on 35 and Chris Kelly on 34 points.
Next Sunday will be Stableford with tee off at 12.30pm.
Finley
The Finley/Tocumwal Two Person Aggregate Stableford Challenge, sponsored by Walsh Plumbing and Naomi Pryse, took place at Finley.
A good field of lady golfers from Tocumwal took on Finley golfers for the trophy, donated by Sue Pappas and Sharon Pyle.
The winning team on the day was Michelle Pearce and Helen Crilly (Tocumwal) with 72 points on a countback from Beth White and Kellie White with 72 points as runners-up. NTP winners were Joanne Dean, Libby Quick and Jenni Corcoran.
Ball competition winners were Sue Simpson and Karen MacDermid on 68, Janet Delmenico and Jenni Corcoran 67, and Helen Wastle and Julie Gregory who finished with 66 Stableford points.
The Inaugural Challenge Trophy was won by Finley with 519 points to Tocumwal’s 492. The ladies finished the day with presentation and luncheon and Tocumwal will host 2024.
With 38 points Billy Smith came home the winner of the AG Warehouse Competition on Wednesday. NTP on the 18th went to Leo McNamara and Billy’s Ball on the 6th went begging. Ball competition winners were Martin Piggin and Barry Wilson who each had 36 Stableford points.
The third round of the new Summer Season Thursday afternoon nine-hole competition was played in perfect conditions.
Sam Hurlston won with 22 Stableford points, while Colin McNamara 21, Tess Dean 20, Bo Makkinga 19 and Sharon Pyle on 18 points were winners in the ball competition.
Saturday was the Finley Chiropractic Centre Stroke Day, which included the November monthly medal for men and brooch for women.
Men’s winner was Ray Healey on 69 net, which also gave him the net medal. Trevor McCaw with his gross score of 78 took out the scratch medal.
Sue Simpson with 70 net came home the ladies daily winner as well as picking up the November club brooch.
NTP on the 18th was Chick Braybon and it was Kellie White who took out NTP on the 13th.
Ball competition winners were Alan Hand 70, Trevor McCaw 71, Mary Polkinghorne 71, Marty Piggin 72, Kellie White 73 and John Taylor who finished with 74 net.
The lady winner on Sunday was Tess Dean with 41 points and Bill Beasley (Cobram) after countback on 40 points took the men’s division when Stableford was played for the Stubbs Wallace trophies.
NTP on the 18th was Paul Pinnuck and on the 13th it was Sasha Wood.
Ball competition winners were Bob Makkinga 40, Karen Litchfield 39, Judith Callanan (Cobram) 38, Rick Harris 38, Ian Litchfield 37, and Jason Pyle who had 35 Stableford Points.
