The Cats had a slow start but once they were into the game their consistency paid off.
At quarter time they spoke about utilising circle edge passing into the goalers which had immediate effect.
Finley won the third quarter by one goal and were only down by 10, but a few silly turnovers in the last few minutes saw the margin blowout. Overall, it was a great effort.

Finley took on the top side, and it was a tough game after losing a few players to injuries in previous weeks and leaving the side relying heavily on under-17 girls to step up and play back-to-back games.
They did an amazing job, fitting well in into the B-grade side.
Half-time saw almost every player have a position change, and while it didn’t impact scoreboard wise, it was great to see girls being able to adapt to change and working with different teammates in different sections of the court.
Tongala were too strong, but the players continued to give 100 per cent and support each other.

Tongala played a dominant game and showed why they are the top side again this year.
There were some great passages of play from Finley, but there is plenty to work on at training.
BOC went to Megan Vallance, who again gave her all in defence against a strong GA.
The other award went to to Georgia Healy with her mid-court drive providing great options in attack.

Tongala came out fighting and were just too strong.
The junior girls did well, fighting for every ball and taking on the coach’s advice.
The shooters had their work cut out for them, and the defenders worked extremely hard for every ball.

Finley played out a thrilling game against a strong Tongala side, narrowly going down in a close contest.
The defenders were outstanding, creating countless turnovers and applying relentless pressure.
The mid-court worked hard to adjust and support play, helping to transition those turnovers into scoring opportunities.
In the goal circle, shooters combined beautifully, keeping Finley in the game with their smart movement and accurate finishing.
It came down to the final quarter, where a few quick goals from Tongala in the early minutes gave them just enough of a buffer.

A cold start for the girls on Saturday but they pushed through and gave Tongala a tough game during the first half.
Shooters were on point all game, with beautiful movement in the circle. The mid-courters remained determined to keep the ball in their possession throughout the game, with intercepts and turnovers from pressure.
Defence kept their eyes up and got their hands to the ball for most of the game.

Saturday's match was a fantastic showcase of the under-11 netball team's growing skills and exceptional teamwork, supporting each other with encouraging words and smart plays, highlighted by unwavering sportsmanship.
Win or lose, they maintain a positive attitude, cheering each other on and respecting the opposing team.
This was evident both during the game and in their interactions afterward, displaying great levels of maturity.
