Across the week, the 2023 Championship Events for both women and men were finalised.

On Wednesday, with the course in perfect condition, the culmination of three weeks of the Ladies Championship rounds came to an exciting finish with Sharon Pyle leading Kellie White by one at start of play.
Sharon increased the margin to take out the Ladies Open Division by three strrokes.
After an intense last round in B-grade, Enid Bain and Janet Delmenico were equal on 294 gross.
They had a four hole play off, with octogenarian Enid eventually taking the win.
Another intense game in C-grade saw Annie Wood take the win, just, from Kath Klemke.
With Annie leading by eight at the start of the day’s round, Kath managed to gain on Annie to eventually go down by one stroke.
Saturday was the third day of the men’s championships and Trevor McCaw, on 233 gross, managed to take the lead from Matt Daniel (264 gross) in the open division.
Jason Pyle claimed the lead in B-grade from Kevin McCumstie with 279 gross, Billy Smith held his lead in C-grade and Rand Wilson on 318 held onto his lead in D-grade.
At the end of the day, after the four championship rounds, Trevor McCaw held his lead and with a four round total of 316 gross to take out the 2023 Open Championship.
Likewise, Jason Pyle maintained the overnight lead he took into the final day, and with 354 gross claimed the B-grade title.
Billy Smith increased his lead and with 369 gross took the championship in C-grade.
Rand Wilson managed to hold his lead and claimed D-grade with 427 gross.
The Ladies Marnie Pyle Podiatrist Stroke Event this week saw Janet Delmenico take the win on a countback from Anne Freestone, both finishing on 74 net.
Helen Wastle had 27 putts to win the putting competition, and ball competition winners were Kellie White, Sue Simpson and Marian Ayres who all had 76 net.
With 36 points, Chick Braybon came home the winner when the men played stableford on Wednesday.
NTP on the 18th was Rob Daniel.
Ball competition winners were John Taylor 35, Leo McNamara 34, and Mark Newton on 32 stableford Points.
Stableford was played on the front nine at the Nine Hole Competition on Thursday.
Rand Wilson had 18 to be the winner, with Matt Daniel 16, and Leo McNamara and John Taylor with 15 points each winners in the ball competition.
The Ray Healey Stroke Day was played on Saturday.
The Men’s A-grade in the daily competition was taken out by Trevor McCaw, who had an Eagle 3 on the 456m Par 5, 12th hole to help with his 68 net winning score.
B-grade was taken out by Brett Shaw with 72 net, C by Peter Wood on 72 net, after countback, and in D it was Rory Doyle with 74 net.
The ladies also played stroke, and it was Kellie White with 70 net who claimed the day.
The April Monthly Medal was also on the day’s program, and both the men’s scratch and net medals went to Trevor McCaw with his 74 gross/68 net day out.
The ladies’ scratch and net medals went to Kellie White with her 86 gross/70 net result.
NTP on the 18th was Paul Pinnuck and the ladies putting went to Enid Bain (29 putts).
Ball competition winners were Julie Gregory 71, Enid Bain and Billy Smith on 72, John Taylor, Jason Pyle and Paul Beaver 73, with Tony Smith 74 and Chick Braybon who had 75 net.
Conditions were perfect for the K and A Stroke Day on Sunday.
For the men’s daily competition in A-grade, the winner was Paul Pinnuck with 70 net.
B-grade went to Simon Fuller with 67 net, C to Billy Smith on 70 net and D to Rory Doyle with 67 net.
The ladies played stableford and Kim McCaw, with 38 points, took the trophy.
She also picked up the NTP on the 13th, while the 18th was Trevor McCaw.
Ball competition winners were Sel Corcoran 71, Bob Ross and Chick Braybon on 72 Colin McNamara and Darren John on 73 with Grant Wilson and Alan Hand who each had 74 net.

The result for Thursday was once again Suz Graham as the winner with 34 points, with Julie Sleigh runner-up with 27 on countback.
Sunday saw the second round of the Ladies Championships.
The winner was Emily Ford 98/24/74 on c/b from runner-up Denise Boland 93/19/74.
Also played was a medley stroke event.
The winner was David Hercus 78/8/70 on c/b from runner-up Barry Roe 81/11/70.
Ball winners were Luke Keating, Scott Angove and Aaron Purcell.
NTPs: 5th Scott Angove, 7th Brett Boland, 10th L Foster, 13th Luke Keating, 15th (second shot) David Hercus, 16th Carson Thomas.
Sunday will be the third round of Ladies Championships, as well as the medley stroke.
Tomorrow is medley stableford.

Friday's winner was Dennis Bush (52-17.5-34.5), and Gail Browne was runner-up (41-4.5-36.5).
The ball winner was Judy Karakai (53-15-38), and NTP was won by Spike Salter.
Congratulations to Fiona Wettenhall who had a birdie on the 8th hole.
Sunday's winner Rick Bradbury (79-7-72), and runner-up was Matt Whelan (76-3-73).
Rick Bradbury won the putting with 27 putts and ball winner was Joe Karakai (92-17-75).
This Sunday is a three person ambrose, with a 12.30pm hit off.
