The club house was abuzz, as this is the first time the event has been held since the beginning of COVID.
It was great to catch up with friends.
Ladies came from Deniliquin, Finley, Jerilderie, Howlong, Yarrawonga, Coleambally and Berrigan.
The Petzke Salver is a silver platter trophy donated by the Petzke Family, in honour of Mrs Merle Petzke. She was a former president of the Ladies Golf in Berrigan, and enjoyed playing golf during her lifetime.
The competition takes the form of teams of three players from the one club combining their scores for the day. The team with the highest score wins.
The winning team this year came from Finley - Helen Wastle, Jo Dean and Janet Delmenico.
The girls were presented with a small gift each and the silver platter, which will be held at the Berrigan Golf Club until the next year.
Club Captain Del Schweicker thanked the donors of all prizes, the band of women who provided afternoon tea and also those who have worked on the course during the year.
“We look forward to another successful tournament next year,” she said.
The afternoon concluded with afternoon tea.
