The Finley C-grade side were at home at the Finley Recreation Reserve, hosting Katunga in the semi-final.
Finley won the toss and elected to bat first.
The side had double figure scores from seven players, including a top score of 54 retired not out by Paul Massingham, with two sixes and four fours.
The side also had important lower order contributions of 23 from 13 balls by Will Sexton and 21 from 12 balls by Shibin Benny, which helped the team to 7/181 from their 35 overs.
Katunga pressed Finley to defend their total.
But ultimately, Finley’s bowling and fielding was too strong, bowling Katunga all out for 125 from 31.5 overs.
Murray Urquhart led the way for Finley’s bowlers with figures of 4/8 with Ben Nisbet the other multiple wicket taker with 2/19.
It marks a great season for the C-grade side, who finished the home and away season on top of the ladder with only one loss.
They will play Strathmerton in the grand final this Saturday from 1pm, at Berrigan Recreation Reserve.
