From the first whistle the intensity was high, and the team stuck to the game plan, going goal for goal with Tongala for most of the first quarter.
The defensive pressure across the whole court was effective, creating many turnovers and channelled well down to the attacking end.

Despite a difficult start, Taylor Dixon kept her head up, responded positively to feedback, and continued to give her best effort throughout the game.

The Finley girls showed vast improvement throughout the game and did not let pressure from Tongala get to them.
They all got behind one and another and showed great sportsmanship.

A tougher game with all players needing to step up against some taller opponents.
Strong defence, excellent movement down the court and accurate shooting kept the team right in the contest throughout.
The team showed great determination and teamwork, never giving up and continuing to fight for every ball until the final whistle.
