LBU had a couple of bright sparks but Echuca rarely looked in danger of dropping the tie, picking up the win by 30 games, 10-89 to 3-59.
The singles section saw Jack Byrne and Nick Bush earn Echuca a useful advantage, with 6-3 and 6-4 wins respectively.
Harrison Condliffe and Simon Portwine pulled back a set for LBU in the men’s doubles, 8-5, but Echuca grabbed the other two sets to extend the lead.

It was a similar story in the women’s doubles.
Narelle Bacon and Michelle Stone grabbed LBU’s lone set 8-4, but the other three went to Echuca.

The mixed doubles was more of the same, with three of four sets going Echuca 1’s way.

In the other fixture, Rochester forfeited the points to Echuca 2, which was awarded a 13-100 to 0 victory.
That scoreline is a big boon for 2, which leads Echuca 1 on differential (both 6-1), that gap growing wider this week.

LBU remains without a win, while Rochester is 2-5.
Action will be at Echuca Tennis Club this Saturday as Echuca 2 takes on LBU and Rochester is scheduled to face off with Echuca 1.
