The Jerilderie Football Netball Club held its annual junior club vote count on August 22 at the Jerilderie Sports Club, bringing together players, families and supporters to celebrate the achievements of its young athletes across both football and netball.

In the under-13s netball, Lara Hercus and Milla Rorato were named joint Best and Fairest winners, each polling 25 votes.
The runner-up position was also shared, with Lexie Hines and Pippa Shaw both receiving 12 votes.
The Coach’s Award was presented to Amity Ewert.
In the under-15s, Ruby Neessen claimed the Best and Fairest title with an impressive 40 votes, followed by Eliza Godfrey as runner-up on 14 votes.
Abby Mitchell received the Coach’s Award.
It was a close contest in the under-17s.
Miley Conn took out Best and Fairest on 23 votes, narrowly ahead of Georgia Belling who finished runner-up with 22 votes.
Zara Williams was awarded the Coach’s Award, and Sama Swaid received the Leeds Family Memorial ‘Most Determined’ award.
On the football side, the fourths Best and Fairest went to Jackson Pitt, who polled a standout 108 votes.
Zavier Rorato was runner-up with 86 votes.
Jackson Pitt also took home the Leading Goal Kicker award.
Dominic Gurciullo received the Coach’s Award, Coco Rossato was named Most Determined, and Bobbie Davidson was recognised as Most Improved.
In the thirds, Charlie Rorato earned Best and Fairest honours with 43 votes, followed closely by Evan Lawton on 38 votes as runner-up.
Logan Eldridge received the Coach’s Award, James Winn was named Leading Goal Kicker, and Cooper Gurciullo was awarded Most Improved.
The evening was a proud celebration of the dedication, talent and sportsmanship shown by Jerilderie’s junior players throughout the season.
The club also extended special congratulations to Jackson Pitt, Miley Conn and Ruby Neessen, who were invited to attend the PDFNL Junior Vote Count on Monday night.
Additionally, Miley Conn and Kane Hawkins will represent the club at the PDFNL Senior Vote Count on Monday, September 8.
