It was a celebration of loyalty, dedication, and the extraordinary people who form the heart of the club.
One of the evening’s highlights was the awarding of life membership to five outstanding individuals, each recognised for their long-standing commitment and service to JFNC.
This year’s inductees were Tom Bryce, Tania Roe, Dean Knight, Ian Girdwood, and Craig Knight.
Their contribution, both on and off the field, has helped shape the club’s strong community spirit and ensured its ongoing success.
In addition, the club was proud to welcome Bobbie Furletti into the prestigious JFNC Hall of Fame.
Bobbie’s impact on the club has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Over the course of her career, she has played more than 190 games for Jerilderie, held life membership since 1997, served as president from 1995 to 2001 and as joint secretary in 1989.
She claimed the Coreen League C-grade Best and Fairest runner-up three years running (1999, 2000, 2001) and coached across A-grade, B-grade, C-grade and C-Reserve teams over multiple seasons.
“Bobbie’s dedication on the court, her leadership in administration, and her willingness to guide others through coaching has left a lasting legacy that will inspire future generations,’ the club said.
One of the other major awards was Club Person of the Year, which went to Justin Williams.
