Reserves:
The reserves came up against a strong Tungamah side and being a bit short numbered made it a tough hit out.
The backline worked well all day led by Blair Shaw and Josh Curtis who battled hard for the entire game.
Matt Kendall and Sam Harrington also played well in the midfield getting plenty of the ball.
The Demons were able to hold Tungamah to only two or three goals per quarter but unable to take their chances up forward and get a few more on the board.
The team played with heart and never gave up right to the final siren.

Thirds:
The thirds had a hard game against a strong and well manned Tungamah team.
They were grateful to the many Tungamah boys who played for Jerilderie the entire game and provided plenty of options and skill.
It was a struggle in the first quarter with the Dees unable to get the ball down to the forward line, the defence under plenty of pressure.
In the second and third quarters Jerilderie kicked some good goals that got the score going and boosted spirits.
It was a credit to all the boys who fought it out and defended well until the final siren and to the Tungamah boys who were great kids to play footy with.

Fourths:
It was a great way to tick off the halfway point of the season.
The under-14s showed once again that grit, teamwork, and a never-give-up attitude go a long way on the footy field.
Coming off a strong performance last week, the team took the field against a tough Tungamah side with maximum effort, determination and a fierce team spirit.
The first quarter was a tight contest, with both sides playing end-to-end footy.
The ball constantly moved from one arc to the other in a fast-paced and physical start.
At the first break, scores were level, but there was a sense in the Jerilderie camp that we were getting to the contest first and creating more of the play.
Heading into the second quarter, the team sharpened its focus.
The game plan was clear: attack the ball even harder and work just as hard to get back and defend direct opponents. And the Dee’s delivered.
The second and third quarters saw Jerilderie dominate.
The tackling pressure was outstanding, with every player contributing to the defensive effort.
The backline stood tall, repelling attacks and launching counter offensives that turned defence into attack.
The midfielders worked tirelessly to win the ball, and the forwards capitalised on their efforts, putting goals on the board while keeping Tungamah scoreless for two straight quarters.
The Demons entered the final quarter with confidence, but Tungamah came out firing and quickly slotted two goals, swinging the momentum and sparking belief in their camp.
What followed was five minutes of tough, contested footy. Both teams fought tooth and nail for every possession, and when Tungamah managed to sneak through another goal, scores were suddenly level with under five minutes to play.
Determination and relentless effort were eventually rewarded with a late shot on goal — a clutch moment that put Jerilderie back in front with just minutes remaining, and held on for an exciting win.
