Females footballers get new club guernseys
Thanks to Club Corowa’s generous Club Grants Program, the Corowa Roos Female Football Club received $5,000 to purchase new club guernseys.
This support not only helps the team look and feel united on the field but also strengthens the presence of female sport in the region.
Having an all-female football club is a fantastic boost for the local community.
It creates opportunities for young girls to get involved in sport, build confidence, stay active, and form strong friendships.
It also promotes inclusivity and helps break down gender barriers in traditionally male dominated sports.
It’s great to see so many girls out on John Foord Oval, having a kick, learning new skills, and supporting each other both on and off the field. They are more than just a team they’re helping shape the future of women’s sport in our area, and we’re proud to cheer them on.
