Challenging, wet course for Bowl event

Midweek golf was a Medley 4BBB Golf NSW Bowl Event, and after the rain on Monday the golfers found the course very challenging.

The winning team comprised the evergreen Suz Graham and consistent Sara Ham with 37 points.

NTP on the 16th was Jenny McAllister.

A Medley 6x6x6 Stableford on Sunday was won by Jamie Wilkinson and Aaron Purcell with 68 points.

The score included an Albatross for Jamie on the 6th - congratulations on that achievement Jamie.

Runners-up Campbell Rowan and Bryan Payne scored 65 points.

NTPs 5th Laurie Blackmore, 7th Jamie Wilkinson, 10th David Leeds, 13th Shane Foster, 16th Lee Rowan and second shot on the 15th went to David Hercus.

Berrigan

Wednesday's winner was Doug Cameron (43-6-37), runner-up was Paul McVicor (39.5).

Jeff Stein won the putting with 15 putts and ball winner was Beau Walliss (39.5).

Friday's winner was Chris Kelly (43-8.5-34.5), Chris also won the putting with 11 putts.

Runner-up was Jeff Stein (46-11-35).

Ball winners were Alan Arnold (45-9-36) and Brendan Haintz (48-12-36).

Saturday's winner was Doug Cameron (42-5.5-36.5), Doug also won the putting with 11 putts.

Runner-up was John Walker (51-13.5-37.5).

Ball winners were Paul McVicor (38.5), Beau Walliss (38.5) and Shane McLean (39).

Sunday's winner was Chris Kelly with 40 points, runner-up was Doug Cameron with 37 points and ball winners were Paul McVicor on 37 points and Dave Homan on 33 points.

Wednesday’s women’s competition was two-person ambrose won by Beth White and Kellie White 84/12/72 from runners-up Bobette Wilkinson and Sharon Pyle 83/7/76 on c/b.

Ball winners: Annie Wood and Mary Polkinghorne 76, Gai Singleton and Deb Shaw 79, Heather Daniel and Kim McCaw 80 c/b.

NTP: 3rd Deb Shaw; 6th Tess Dean; 11th Bobette Wilkinson; 13th Christine Shaw; 18th Sharon Pyle.

Men’s stableford winner was Martin Piggin 34 points.

Ball winners: Leo McNamara 32, Andrew Tregeagle 28, Rand Wilson and Barry Wilson 27 c/b.

NTP: 18th Lindsay Donkin.

Thursday’s 9-hole stableford winner was John Taylor 16 points on c/b.

Ball winners: Helen McRae 16, Matt Daniel 15 c/b.

Saturday’s was mixed two-person ambrose, won by Bobette Wilkinson and Randall Jakeman 67/4/63; r/u Kim McCaw and Trevor McCaw 74/9/65.

Ball winners: Sharon Pyle and Norm Pyle 66, Mary Polkinghorne and Tony Smith 66. NTP: 13th Tess Dean.

Sunday was stableford. Women’s winner was Gai Singleton with 32 points.

Ball winner: Sharon Pyle 30.

The men’s winner was Owen Gill with 37 points.
