There was cause for celebrations for Mark and Julie O’Brien as they both won their grades, with Mark winning division one and Julie claiming division two in the women’s competition.

Wednesday's women’s competition was the Gwen Walsh Memorial Day and the format was stroke.
The winner was Anne Harding with 94-24=70 and runner-up was Sharon Pyle with 93-17=76 on countback.
Ball winners were Deb Shaw with 121-45=76 and Sue Simpson with 98-22=76, and putting was won by Simpson with 27 putts on a countback.
In the men's stableford competition, Douglas Smith was the winner with 35 points on a countback. Ball winners were Barry Wilson with 35 points and Rand Wilson with 33 points.
No-one was able to locate the nearest-the-pin on the 18th or the pro pin on the sixth.
Saturday men's/women’s stableford was sponsored by W.M. and K.M. Kelly and Sons.
The women’s winner was Anne Harding with 35 points. Ball winners were Janet Delmenico and Jenni Corcoran, both on 33 points on a countback.
Again, no-one was able to land the 13th green, while NAGA was Linda Rendell.
Men's winner was David Cordell with 37 points on a countback. Ball winners were Leo McNamara with 37 points and Ian Daniel, Andrew Harding and Paul Pinnuck with 35 points.
Nearest-the-pin on the 18th was John Taylor.The pro pin on the 11th, jackpot and NAGA went to Alan Hand.

Sunday's winner was Paul McVicor with a stableford score of 31 points, runner-up was Peter Shand with 29 points and ball winner was Gail Browne with 28 points.
Next Sunday is the men's 4BBB 27-hole stroke championship. Tee-off is at 10.30am.
There will also be an 18-hole competition teeing off at 12.30pm.
